π At least two, usually three humans review every application--no AI, no keyword filters! Answering our required questions is important so that we know what you want to do and if we have a good fit. We review the answers to those questions before we even look at resumes.
π‘ Software Engineers (Full Stack, AI/ML, Data Engineering, some specialized areas) (VA, UT): We have several really cool, well funded commercial companies in Northern Virginia looking for mid to senior software engineers (at least 5, ideally 8+ years of experience.) All of these companies have technical interviews which require some background in theoretical computer science and experience building actual products. Based on prior candidate performance, a computer science degree is required to be competitive.
π We also frequently have Federal Account Executive/Federal Sales Roles, especially for people with experience selling software to DHS/DoD and related entities.
π We sometimes have remote roles, but these are rare. We keep a list of engineers for these roles when they open up.
π Cleared Roles: We have a lot of roles available in VA/DC/MD for cleared technical personnel across many different companies. Right now all of our roles require TS/SCI FSP and we cannot upgrade clearances. We expect to have some software engineering roles in the near future at the TS level; however, those will have very stringent technical interviews.
β We usually have: Cybersecurity, Engineering, Data Science, IT, DevOps/Cloud Engineering, Cyber Forensics, and similar positions as well as positions that require very specific skills that can only be obtained via prior military or government experience.
π€ We sometimes have: Analysis and similar roles (usually with a cyber or technical angle)
π We rarely have: Program Management, Translation, Physical Security, Help Desk, or Support functions as well as any positions requiring less than TS clearances.
β‘ RF engineer: We are looking for an RF engineer with experience building actual HF hardware (designing and building circuits, NOT link analysis) for a very cool startup in northern Virginia.
Other notes:
π The above list is not exhaustive! We usually have several specific roles requiring unique knowledge or skill sets, e.g. cyber forensics/incident response or specialized scientific knowledge
π We are only recruiting U.S. citizens and U.S. Legal Permanent Residents (Green card holders). We have no ability to sponsor visas. Please do not apply if you need visa sponsorship or are located outside the U.S.
π We do not have internships, and we rarely have roles open to recent undergraduates.
